Unique
Military and Police Pistol (steps 1-3)

Instructions below refer to part
numbers listed on the Unique
Military and Police Pistol exploded parts diagram. Please note the reference numbers
therein do not correspond with the part numbers in our online
catalogue.

STOP!
Always 'clear' and inspect gun to ensure ammunition is not
loaded or chambered before performing maintenance on this or
any firearm.

|
To field-strip the Unique Military
& Police Model, remove the magazine (15) and clear the
chamber. Pull the slide (2) to the rear, and engage the safety
(34) with the front notch on the slice to lock with the slide
back. Rotate the barrel (1) clockwise 60 degrees (3), and pull
forward (4) out of the slide.

While holding the slide firmly, turn
the safety downward, and ease the slide forward off the frame
(16). Remove the recoil spring assembly (37). This completes
field-stripping.

|
For further disassembly, place the
slide bottom up in a vise with padded jaws. Drift out the
extractor pin (3) and firing retaining pin (4), and remove the
extractor (5), extractor spring (6), firing pin (9), and firing
pin spring (8). Drift out retaining pins in the slide to the
top; those in the frame from right to left.
