[Automatic
Weapons]: Frequently
Asked Questions
Q.
Oh
my God! Those aren’t REAL machine guns, are they?
A.
Yes,
as a matter of fact they are real live machine guns. They do
work.
Q.
WHY
do you have machine guns? I thought NOBODY could have machine
guns!
A.
With
a very few exceptions you are absolutely right. Private Canadian
citizens are generally NOT allowed to own machine guns. The military,
museums, and police departments
(SWAT teams) DO have machine guns. Ever wonder where they got
them from? You’ve found the source.
Q.
You
are selling MACHINE GUNS over the Internet?!
A.
NO. There is NO way to buy any of
our firearms through our web site or over the Internet, PERIOD.
We are only displaying what our company has to offer to licensed
purchasers, and there is a whole transaction process with
mandatory involvement of the Canadian
Firearms Centre (federal
firearms registrar).
Q.
If
you’re NOT selling machine guns over the Internet, how ARE you
selling them?
A.
Qualified
purchasers (police,
military,
etc.) contact us with their official documents. We forward those
documents to the RCMP
(federal police) and the
Canadian
Firearms Centre (federal
registrar), who make sure said documents are legitimate and
valid. The C.F.C. then talk to us and directly to the purchaser
and, once satisfied everything is in order, the C.F.C. approve
the sale and transfer.
Q.
Can
I buy a machine gun?
A.
If
you are Canadian: Probably
not, unless you have special licenses issued to you by the
Canadian government that specifically permit the acquisition of
machine guns (a class of prohibited weapons).
If
you are American: contact your local office of the Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, and Firearms (A.T.F.)
as we can NOT send any Class III firearm or part to the United
States without first receiving an A.T.F. approved Form 6
import permit from you (we will verify any permit received with
the A.T.F.).
Everyone
Else: talk to your local officials or police.
Q.
What
about foreign clients? Can just anyone outside Canada buy
machine guns?
A.
NO. In addition to the procedures
outlined in the last question, we must receive an import permit
from the purchaser (for their country) and we must also file for
an EXPORT PERMIT with Foreign
Affairs Canada before sending
anything out. This means we can only conduct business with those
countries and organizations approved by Canadian and
International law.
Q.
Not to say you’re unethical,
but what (besides morals) stops you from “skipping the
paperwork?”
A.
Every
firearm we have in inventory, including the many
‘non-restricted’ and ‘restricted’ firearms we CAN sell
to regular license holders, is passed through Canada
Customs inspection and
subsequently registered to us upon entering Canada. Our
inventory is subject to inspection by the government, who are
aware at all times of EXACTLY how many of every firearm we have
along with their serial numbers. If
something is sold, the paperwork MUST accompany it and also be
in our and the government's records. Our inventory is so carefully
monitored by the federal government we have two computers linked
directly with Royal Canadian
Mounted Police HQ in Ottawa (Cdn.
equivalent of the U.S. F.B.I. and the A.T.F.).
To
summarize: federal government agencies personally
involve themselves in, supervise, and approve each and every
transaction we make.
