The Yugoslavians, renowned for taking an already successful weapon design and making a much improved version for themselves, showed how skilled they were at doing this with the completion of their M-56 design.
Very much like the German MP-40 in terms of general layout, the Yugo M-56 shares several of its features (under-folding stock, position of magazine to serve as foregrip) while adding a few innovations of their own (inertia-type bolt safety, bayonet lug). As wiith other weapons of Yugoslavian design, these were seen in the recent Balkan conflicts, Kosovo, etc.
These well-made guns would be equally at home on display at an arms exhibit or in the hands of actors performing a guerilla war, action behind the Iron Curtain (or in a locale formerly behind it) or other similar role.

These submachine guns are in 'as new' un-issued condition
