Marstar Canada now carries European made Mec-Gar firearm magazines. Widely known as the largest and finest manufacturer of magazines, Mec-Gar is also the only major manufacturer whose research and development and 50,000+ square feet of production facilities are decidated exclusively to making magazines. Their state-of-the-art factory is second to none, incorporating - among other things - an in-house tool and die facility, modular heat treatment in a controlled atmosphere, vaccuum vapour degreasing system, automatic lapping machines, automatic seam welding machines, and integrated CAD/CAM technology fully supported by their in-house engineering team.

Mec-Gar magazines are in use by numerous military and law enforcement agencies including the U.S. army. Mec-Gar is also the OEM supplier of firearm magazines to most of the world's major gun manufacturers.
