One Year 'in Canada' Limited Parts/Labour Warranty
Important: This statement of warranty applies only to new Australian International Arms (AIA) firearms purchased directly from an authorized AIA dealer or distributor in Canada and registered to the original purchaser. If you did not purchase your AIA firearm in Canada, please refer warranty-related questions to your place of purchase.
We offer the following limited non-transferable warranty to the original owner of new AIA firearms sold through authorized dealers:
One (1) year parts and labour for repair or replacement of the Australian International Arms (AIA) firearm or its parts (by our or our authorized dealers and at their discretion) which have proven defective in materials and/or workmanship. Under no circumstances is this warranty to be construed as conferring any liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained, directly or indirectly, through the use by any person of any AIA firearm.
This warranty is not transferable to a third party (the original purchaser of the firearm may however contact their dealer directly for warranty service) and does not apply to AIA products sold as used firearms.
While we do support dealers who carry our products, clients who purchased product from any such dealer should contact them directly for warranty service if applicable. This statement of warranty shall not supercede the ‘returns’ or ‘after sales service’ policies or agreements of any firearms business or individual who has resold an AIA firearm they originally obtained from Australian International Arms Canada.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Australian International Arms and its authorized Canadian agents, dealers, and distributors limit our liability to the repair or replacement of the defective AIA firearm. We will not assume legal or financial liability for any additional or associated costs, loss of revenue, or incidental/consequential damages to persons or property which occurred as a direct or indirect result of product failure, improper use, or unauthorized use thereof.
- Warranty service must be performed by Australian International Arms Canada’s personnel unless Australian International Arms has issued written authorization to a licensed gunsmith prior to the work being done.
- AIA firearms that have been sold by or given (transferred) from the original purchaser to a third party are not covered. Please address claims to the person or business from whom the firearm was purchased.
- AIA firearms that have been subjected to abuse, insufficient user-level maintenance, or show evidence of unacceptably excessive wear are not covered.
- AIA firearms that have undergone any modifications, whether or not said alterations have been performed by a licensed gunsmith, are not covered.
- AIA firearms that have been damaged due to the installation and/or subsequent failure of non-AIA parts or accessories are not covered.
- Use of a different calibre or specification of ammunition other than that recommended for use in the AIA firearm in question will void the warranty.
